The EHEIM pickup is a small and practical internal filter to attach to the tub with suction cups. The filter container can be removed from the top along with the filter sponge, while the pump unit remains in the tank, facilitating cleaning or replacing the filter cartridge. The pump sucks water from below, pumping it up through the filter sponge. Here, clean water is reimposed into the aquarium through the swivel nozzle. The pickup filter is fully equipped and ready for immediate use. You can also use activated carbon cartridges in the filter to perform adsorbent water treatment, for example during a new set up or after medication treatments. The filter sponge can be washed, but it is recommended to change it about twice a year to keep a water quality constantly good.
