1/2 - SPUGNE FILTRANTI: 2 layers of sponges hold all residues of dirt escaped from other filtering materials. The high sponge surface allows nitrifying bacteria to develop and make additional biological filtration. Thanks to hermetic closure (the filter works under pressure), bacterial colonies develop faster and more effectively than normal open filters.

3 - NEW AQUA BIOGLOBE: They are equipped with a structure designed to achieve the maximum ratio between the available surface and their size. Thanks to their unique conformation, they can reduce their diameter without hindering the flow of water. This allows to accommodate twice the bacterial flora normally contained in standard bioballs, optimizing biological filtration.

4 - AQUA KINSHY SPONGE: It is a special material designed for filtering large fish lakes, such as Koi carps. Composed of an innovative PVC electro-welded fiber, it has an anti-intasting mechanical action that allows it to fully satisfy both mechanical and biological functions. The extreme wear resistance of fibers allows to withstand loads of pollutants much higher than normal sponges.

5 - ROOM FOR SPORCO RACCOLTA: Thanks to the filter design, most of the coarse sediments are gradually deposited in a specific area on the bottom of the container. By operating the “Backwash”, the accumulated dirt is eliminated from the water flow, reducing the frequency of maintenance.

The Backwash system is activated by turning the handle on the filter cover. The system reverses the flow of water allowing quick cleaning of the filter without having to open or disassemble the filter.
