Features: 

Strong and easily adaptable slow growth palustre plant that fits well both the emerging and submerged cultivation.

The rhizome, in order to avoid breaking or dying, must remain outside the substrate or must be attached to logs, rocks or aquarium furnishings.

It is easy in the aquarium to see flowers of this plant, a yellow white spiga wrapped in a green leaf with white edges.

Need a low fertilisation mainly based on bivalent kelate and manganese iron to avoid appearing on leaves old yellow spots (chlorosis).

Thanks to its robust and coriaceous leaves it is usually not eaten by phytophagious fishes and therefore is very indiacade for aquariums with cyclics.

The easy cultivation and adaptation of this plant make it ideal for neophytes.
