The Latin name means "the plant with round leaves'. The Rotal Rotate southeast asia has 15-30 long stems ( 2-3 cm wide) and long and narrow leaves. Unlike other species Rotala is relatively little challenging, even if you need good light for production red leaves. 
Shape of the lateral shoots, becoming compact and bushy. This means that it is difficult for light to reach the lower leaves, so the plant should be frequently potato.
