BioClean cleans the aquarium naturally, combining BioDigest and Bioptim.
BioDigest is composed of nitrifying, denitriphing and optional natural bacterial strains, selected for their ability to transform ammonia into nitrites, nitrites and nitrates into nitrogen.
These bacteria (50 billion per 1 ml vial) work in the team: each strain completes the work started by others.
Some of them are able to biosynthesize nitrates by reducing enzymes in aerobic conditions. This allows for effective water purification, reduction of nitrates and phosphates and prevention of filamentous algae proliferation.
Thanks to food competition and probiotic effect, they prevent the proliferation of pathogenic organisms, reducing the risk of disease.
Bioptim provides the bacteria contained in Biodigest the micronutrients necessary for life in the aquarium (amino acids selected, enzymes, natural vitamins and a natural vegetable surfactant, for better absorption through bacterial cells).
It also provides trace elements: sulphur for protein, iron for plants and fish blood, cobalt for vitamins B and boron for different metabolism products during the cellular construction, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, molybdenum and potassium.
Bioptim also facilitates the elimination of nitrates and phosphates, precursors of algae formation, and carbohydrates, thus allowing the control of decomposition odours and the optimization of water quality.
