Reefer system 250 Red Sea

Embedding technologies originally developed for MAX® all-in-one coral systems Red Sea, the REEFER series is designed to ensure ease of use and to allow the experienced hobbyist to install an unlimited choice of lighting, filtration, circulation and controllers to create a unique and personalized system.

Specification REEFER

REEFER aquariums are made of ultra-transparent glass with bevelled edges, to maintain their elegant and modern line without frame.

The aquarium is located on a recessed base "suspended" above the wardrobe, which perfectly follows the glass profile.

The specular laminated cab housing the filter basin (and that in larger models also includes a space dedicated to fans for chillers) is elegantly finished with epoxy powder coated doors.

REEFER Water Management System

The removable touch combs surround the upper part of the overflow tank, centrally positioned, which houses the drain pipe of the tank, the return tube and the "ocular" nozzle, discreet and multi-directional.

In the case of a pipe block, an emergency overflow tube provides an unlimited flow of aquarium water directly to the cup.

Entering the cockpit, the water passes through a 225 micron mechanical filter bag, and then enters the filtration compartment that keeps the water height constant, making it suitable for all skimmers and other reactors.

In order to remove any air bubbles that can be escaped from the skimmer, the water, returning to the chamber of the return pump, passes through a cascade that eliminates the remaining bubbles.

To ensure a constant level of water in the pump compartment, all REEFER wells include an automatic freshwater scraping unit, ensuring a constant flow of water throughout the system.

Supplied as a complete self-assembly kit, all pipes are ready without need for additional gluing.
